 Forensic social work is the application of social work practices and principles which in any way is related to legal issues and litigation, both criminal and civil. I engage only in forensic activities within areas of competence and expertise including:

  • Child custody issues, involving separation, divorce, and mediation.

  • Child welfare issues and OCFS involvement, including allegations of abuse and/or neglect, jeopardy petitions, reunification efforts, and termination of parental rights.

  • Juvenile and adult justice services, including mitigation, and compliance with mandated mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.


I provide consultation, education, or training to:

  • Attorneys

  • Those engaged in criminal or civil litigation

  • Criminal justice, juvenile justice, and correctional systems

  • Law enforcement personnel

  • Members of the public

  • Law makers​
